Notchless is the first app I released to the App Store. I built it over a weekend and released it in my final year of high school. This is an incredibly lightweight app that has one basic feature, but it introduced me to the app submission and review process for the App Store.

In 2017, the iPhone X had just been released and I saw an app that was going viral for removing the "notch". While I knew that this was simply an app that adds a black bar to your wallpaper, many people did not and were spending multiple dollars on it. So I thought, "How hard could this be to make?" and spent the weekend making my own version of the app. I added the ability for users to change the radius of the top corners using a slider to differentiate my app.

Since the whole point behind this project was to help people not get ripped off on a wallpaper app, I made the app free and released it. The week it was released, my app was flooded with downloads which made me super excited since this was the first app I had released. After a couple of reviews that pointed out some bugs, I released an update that fixed the issues.

This project has mainly remained untouched since I updated it in 2017, but I plan on doing another update sometime soon just to refresh the UI and App Store page.
